Windows 8

I produced designs for several potential sample Windows 8 Apps to be demoed at the Build conference. Canvas Paint was the only one that was actually built  (though the name shown in these designs is Peindre).  All controls and user interface had to be touch-enabled. Additionally, the functionality had to be able to work with the existing APIs.

Internet Information Services (IIS)

The IIS team wanted to create a web-based interface for IIS so that users can manage servers from either a browser or a phone. I designed the interface and built a prototype of the responsive behaviors required to enable the app to run on any device.

Visual Studio Online

For Visual Studio Online, my design work centered around re-imagining the navigation model for the site. The existing site had inconsistent top-level navigation. My goal was to provide clearer wayfinding for the user.  I built an HTML prototype of these designs.
